“There have been great societies that did not use the wheel, but there have been no societies that did not tell stories.”
―Ursula K. Le Guin
I’m a writer with a passion for research, optimization, and storytelling.
After graduating from the University of Tulsa with degrees in Creative Writing and French, and an Art History minor (which means I’m insufferable to watch movies with), I cut my teeth writing wedding blogs for Something Blue Journal before joining People First Content as a content specialist.
Working at a growing agency gave me the opportunity to say yes to every project and learn as I went. I’ve collaborated with clients across various industries, including SaaS, biotech, fintech, and healthcare, as well as others, on a range of projects, including blog content, white papers, ghostwritten autobiographies, and comprehensive content audits. I got to take charge of our website, spearhead new service offerings, write biweekly newsletters, and learn something new every day.
In my free time, I write (more), soothe my carpal tunnel, and sew clothing so I can humbly tell people, ‘Yes, I made that,’ when they compliment my outfit.
I’m currently available for full-time, part-time, and contract positions. Please indicate if you’d like a copy of my portfolio for my client work to see my work in different styles and industries.
